About Our Department

The Mascoutah Fire Department provides fire and rescue services to the residents in and around Mascoutah, Illinois. We cover approximately 150 square miles that include both the City of Mascoutah and the Mascoutah Rural Fire Protection District.

Included in our district is Mid-America Airport, where the Mascoutah Fire Department serves as primary response for all non-aircraft incidents. Our fire station, located near downtown, serves as the hub for our operations.

Our department consists of dedicated volunteers including a Chief, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, Captains, Lieutenants, and Firefighters. We maintain several mutual aid agreements with surrounding communities to ensure comprehensive coverage for all emergencies.
